Bro/Sis Cookout

Our faithful grillers
Volleyball was just part of the fun
This is all the hall leadership from all three halls.

Last night we had a brother/sister hall cookout at my dorm, Lampost. Even considering we are a ways off campus is was rather well attended. A little over 55 people showed up and there are only 69 in all three of our dorms combined! I'm rather excited about how it turned out and am pretty excited to see the connection between our dorms.

Donation #4

This past Saturday I donated my hair for the fourth time now to Locks of Love. Thought I would share the new style with you. :)

Aquatic Adventure

Before I left for school Abi and I were able to participate in an Aquatic Adventure at Oceans of Fun. If you check this out you can see some awesome pictures from a super awesome time with a California sea lion, Slick!

Difficult Goodbye

Yesterday morning, amidst ridiculous training for a job I've already done, I had to say goodbye to my best friend Katie. She is moving back home to NY and while I already have plans to go see her it was still a difficult thing to do. If you had seen the final meeting you wouldn't had thought that but every free moment of the day when I had time to think about how much she really meant to me and how much I will dearly miss her, I had to do all I could to hold the tears. It was hard but I know this is what God has for her and wish her the best. Love you Katie...miss you already!

Dad and Mom...

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!
I love you two very much and wish you many more!

Happy Anniversary to Andy and Trisha as well. Congrats you two!

Convoy of Hope

Yesterday our church, along with 31 other churches, hosted an event called Convoy of Hope. We were able to provide groceries, health care, hair cuts, a meal, games for kids, and a prayer time for over 2300 people in the greater Green Bay area. It was such a blessing to be able to interact with so many people and know that we were able to positively impact their lives. Check this out.

Last Week

For my last week at camp I was privileged to be a counselor as well as a color team captain. At this particular camp much of the free time is structured around color team competitions where the color team captain is expected to be at all of them. Originally that is all I was supposed to do but when another counselor e-mailed in on Monday morning that she wasn't coming I shortly moved from the camper into a camper room and was able to hang out with five wonderful girls all week long.

I am still waiting on a few pictures of the costumes I wore during our evening service entrances from other cameras but this is one that I was able to get with my own camera. Most other nights had themes where I was a smurf, toga, or cowgirl but in this photo I let my girls dress me in anything blue I had!
