Oshkosh Placement Exchange

As of right now I am in WI preparing for the Oshkosh Placement Exchange. This is where over 200 colleges and universities come to interview for residence life positions for after graduation. I'm tremendously nervous and also a bit scared of the ensuing weather that may pose difficulties in travel to and from GB but I'm sure things will all work out! Thursday is a day full of scheduling, though I already have six interviews prescheduled, and Friday - Sunday is all interviewing. Should be fun but I'm so nervous. I'll keep you all updated as time marches on.

Oh yes, and prayers would be much appreciated!

Visit with Dad & Mom

Dad and Mom came down this weekend for a visit and managed to bring the weather with them! It was the first snow in a while that covered our nice green grass we've had for a little while. Just reminds us that winter isn't over I guess! All in all, it was still a really fun time. Always nice to get some company around here. First time I've seen them since school started in January! Love you two...glad you came!

Thanks Trish!

My cousin, Trish, was so kind as to make me a new header for my blog. It's probably the greatest representation of college life for me. On the left are the women of my dorm, well some of them...the ones willing to stay up long enough to take this picture! In the middle is my hall leadership with their Christmas quilts behind us. And on the right is my roommate, Michele, and me on a prep/goth skate night.

Thanks so much Trisha. It looks wonderful! I love it!!!

Dinner with My Ladies!

Last night I was blessed to have a night out with my Growth Group Leaders (small group leaders on the hall) to do non-hall related things. We dressed up a little, went out to eat, went for coffee, and didn't talk about any related to Post! It was wonderful. We even followed up with some game time at my apartment after returning from coffee. I also was able to give them their belated Christmas gifts. Over break Mom and I made two crib size quits for the girls to cuddle up with this winter and many to follow. They turned out really nice and neither of them have put them down since. Apparently it was a good one.

We took a few pictures to try to get a nice hall leadership picture to put in frames. We had a little too much fun doing that but the quilts are on display behind the recipient!
