First Fines

I had to write up my first fines this weekend for failed room cleanliness checks. :( I felt like such a mean RA and didn't want to do it, but if I don't start I doubt I'll ever do it. I guess you have to start somewhere. Just makes me feel like a meany, that's all! The worst part about it is that I now have to hunt them down until they pay it! Sad day!

A Weekend With Abi

In a whirlwind Abi traveled here to Grace for less than 24 hours. She arrived on Saturday night around 10:30 p EST and left at 10:00 p EST on Sunday. It was a short time but really fun none the less. Saturday night we hung out with a few girls on the hall playing Skip-Bo (thanks for sending it Dad and Mom!) and then headed to Steak-n-Shake for a midnight (more like one am) snack! Sunday was church, lunch out, a movie, bowling, dinner in, some Rodeo Golf, and just relaxing a bit before the drive home. I sure love her and was glad to have the visit, even though it was short. It was nice to finally have a face to put to the name for some of me residents who've been hearing about Abi since day one! It may be a long drive....but I like visitors always!

Day after day after day after day after day I go to my mailbox and hope that someone thought of me and sent me a letter. Now, I'm too weak to take the disappointment, so here's my request...Please don't let me find another empty box! Whether it be a dinky postcard or an all out package, please let my box (and me!) feel loved. I'd like that a lot. And in case you need a reminder...
