Happy birthday Booger! I love you and miss you all the time. You are a blessing in my life and I could never go back to not having you around. I hope your first birthday is tremendous and you get some quality cupcakes. I love you...a lot!

Human Candyland

We projected, we traced, we colored, we cut, and we posted...seven and a half hours later we were ready for some Life-Sized Candyland! Then the brother hall, Gamma C, headed over for open dorms and we played for about two hours. Through the mass chaos, we had a blast and deemed the hours or prep time as 'totally worth it'.

Mattress Sliding

Although it is severely frowned upon....we went mattress sliding last night!! It was a blast and we flew under the radar of the RD. It probably isn't a good thing that as the RA I was allowing this and actually set it up, but oh well, we had a good time nonetheless! (Once I figure out the video thing without taking a century I'll post it)

I Made It....Almost!

So the hard part of the week is over. Papers are turned in, quizzes are done, presentations are completed, and tomorrow I have all day to work on homework for next week. It will be nice if I can get at least half of it done considering how busy...yet awesome...this weekend is going to be. Mom and Dad come on Saturday which I am stoked about and it's Homecoming weekend which comes with a load of busyness. Grace Brass has a reunion concert with anyone who has played brass at Grace, so we have a rehearsal Saturday morning, and concert in the late evening. The Lancer Pep Band is also playing for the basketball games, so my lips will be dead by the end of the day. It will be a relief to go back to the hotel and swim and hang out with Dad and Mom. What a blessing! I just wanted to update you all from the sad report last weekend and express my gratitude for all of you who cared and prayed. I really appreciate it! Thanks!!
