Cookies with the Crew

As it seems to have become a tradition, that I enjoy quite a bit might I add, Mom and I spent some time with the Montalbano kids baking and decorating cookies today. It was a great time had by all. Enjoy the pictures!

Buckeyes

Last night some freshman from my old dorm came over for some games, movies, 'baking', and a sleepover (be proud we actually slept for a little while!). In light of the big game today (apparently around here Ohio State playing Michigan is a big deal) we made some buckeyes as a treat for a friend. Much like peanut butter balls but they actually look like buckeye nuts. It was an interesting experience...very fun!

Senior Class Trip

This year at Grace they have decided to give us a senior class trip once a semester instead of providing class rings for us. Personally, I think we are getting the better end of the deal so this was an exciting change. For our first trip we went to Chicago for the day and saw the show Wicked. It was my second time seeing the musical but it was still a great time!

The Trout

Sorry it has been so long for a post but it seems as though all professors always decide that projects and exams will all come within a two week stretch of one another. Besides, nothing out of the ordinary has happened either except....Post won the Trout!!!!
It may seem silly and odd for us to value a stuffed rainbow trout but it was hard to obtain! Every year during homecoming week we have a chapel devoted to showing of hall t-shirts and essentially make a fool of ourselves with a little skit in front of the rest of the dorms. This year, and I hope to get some video for you all soon, we acted out the Evolution of Video Games. This included fun things like Frogger, PacMan, Duckhunt, Sonic, Mario Kart, and more. We didn't think we were going to get the win simply because we are a small dorm and other skits seemed to orient themselves around Grace college things. Even so, we are the proud owners of the Trout until homecoming next year!
