Happy Birthday Dawson!

Hope you are having a great birthday Dawson! I've been bragging you up to all my friends and telling them how my adorable godson is 1 year old! I'm so proud of you with your walking and being a big brother. Can't wait to see you again kiddo! Love you bunches!

Stressed

I guess it's been a long time since I've posted anything, assuming anyone is still there reading. I figure I should start off with an apology for not posting but in regards to how busy and crazy things have been I feel I'm entitled to a break! I don't even know where to begin to inform you all what is going on and the stress of it all...maybe a list (thanks Katie!)...

1. I have a new resident on my hall from downstairs.
2. I found out that I have written the most fines out of all RAs on campus, and I haven't even written that many and all were for reasons out of my hands and not because I am mean.
3. Homecoming is this week and I have a commitment every night.
4. I have a group presentation on Monday night.
5. I have nine books and three projects due Monday by 5 pm.
6. I have 25 chapters and summaries due on Tuesday by 12:30 pm.
7. I am having problems with a resident...big ones!
8. I am missing out on things at home this weekend and would much rather be there.

Basically I could keep going but it's so not worth it. Just would make me think sad thoughts! So, if you are reading this ridiculous post, just think of me and pray for me. I'll take anything about now!

Grace Brass Retreat

We had a team-building retreat last night into this afternoon for Grace Brass in North Webster, IN. It was a blast just hanging out and playing some games after a cook out on Friday night. Then after a seemingly restless night we went back out into the 80+ degree weather for some team activities. I'm proud to say the high brass (trumpets and piano) dominated all the small team activities. Sure was nice to get off the hall (again!) and spend some time with the brass buds. We also have a performance tomorrow for a pig roast, that should be interesting!

WI Weekend!

This past weekend I was able to enjoy, and I really did, my first weekend off! It was such a blessing to be able to come home and it seemed like just the right time. I got to visit with the Monty Crew and see their newest blessing, Delaney Karsalyn, as well as play with the kids for a bit to (hopefully) relieve Trish and Andy.Friday night we headed up to the cabin for a first-ever Wolff family reunion on Saturday. It was a blast to see the cousins and hang out with the whole fam all day long! It proved to be a long weekend as far as driving was concerned but so worth it. I'm so glad I got to see everyone and am looking forward to when I get to come home again. Love you all!
